Last played this course in 1974. Played it in summer of 2025. Very nostalgic. Dude in the shop was great. The course is a challenge. Greens were very good. Rest of the course was good enough. I love the layout. There are some deferred maintenance issues, but they really did not affect how the course plays. If you want a challenge, play it! Watch out for cardiac hill on 18!

I had a very disappointing experience at this golf course. I was playing with three ladies in my group, and we were keeping pace with the course and were not causing any delays. Despite this, the ranger repeatedly approached our group and continuously pressured us to hurry up. What made the situation especially frustrating was the way we were treated. The comments and interactions felt unnecessarily rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional from the very beginning. Rather than providing courteous guidance, the ranger’s behavior came across as confrontational and hostile. Golf is supposed to be an enjoyable experience, but the treatment we received made it anything but. Customer service and respect should be a priority, regardless of who is on the course. Unless significant improvements are made in how customers are treated, I will not be returning.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PLAY LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Very frustrating round from start to finish. Five minutes before our scheduled tee time, a pro shop employee was already yelling over a megaphone for us to tee off. We paid for a specific tee time and expected to start then, not earlier. From the first hole, the group behind us was being pushed up and hitting into us. It felt like the course was trying to squeeze every possible group onto the tee sheet regardless of spacing. The worst part was the ranger. He approached us on the back nine claiming we were holding up the entire course, despite the fact that nobody was behind us. In fact, for the next four holes after he confronted us, there still wasn't a group waiting on our tee box. Rather than addressing actual pace-of-play issues, he continued to follow us around and watch us play, which felt more like harassment than course management. Many of the holes are blind shots, yet the carts don't have GPS to show whether the landing area is clear. We repeatedly had to wait for golfers from neighboring holes who had hit errant shots into our fairway before it was safe to hit. Those delays were completely outside of our control.

Course was fine but the tee times were scheduled 10 minutes apart. The tee time behind us tee’d off 3 minutes after our group. We played at a 4:30 pace (not fast but not slow). The course ranger approached us and blamed us for the entire course being backed up on a Sunday at 10:00AM. He then proceeded to watch us for the next few holes. The group behind us was never in a position to go ahead, otherwise we would have let them play through. When we finished playing, the group behind us was not able to be seen and finished 25 minutes after us. We called to advise the pro shop what happened with the course ranger, and they told us to not come back. Not a bad course outside of the cart paths and bridges needing major repair. Won’t return because of the staff etiquette.

Had such a great time had big run golf club from a vendor standpoint. Loading was amazing making it super easy to navigate the grounds. Definitely a very spacious deck right off the golf in green.
